21st Century Community Learning Center
“If we were logical, the future would be bleak, indeed. But we are more than logical. We are human beings, and we have faith,
and we have hope, and we can work.” JACQUES-YVES COUSTEAU

The tutors employed at The Learning Curve strive to make tutoring exciting, stimulating, and challenging. Our tutors are trained and carefully selected professionals and students from graduate schools and colleges who have demonstrated high intellectual achievement.
This program supports the creation of community learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children, particularly students who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools. The program helps students meet state and local student standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math; offers students a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement their regular academic programs; and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.
Gray & Associates, Inc / The Learning Curve has 21st Century Community Learning Center programs at the following schools during the regular school year:
• Brinkley Middle School
• Hardy Middle School
• Northwest Middle School
• Peeples Middle School.
Then, during the summer, The Learning Curve holds programs on the grounds of Blackburn Middle School and at The Learning Curve Building.
Students from Poindexter Elementary School, Brinkley Middle School, Hardy Middle School, Northwest Middle School, and Peeples Middle School may come to The Learning Curve facility for their enrichment courses during the summer months.
